The outdoors in luxury

Unwind. Relax. Slow down and savour the picture postcard views from our unrivalled Scottish lochside setting. Time, finally, to exhale.

Our award-winning lodges sit uniquely right on the edge of Loch Venachar, in a rare and beautiful corner of the Trossachs. This is a place for unrushed days and long evenings watching light move across the loch. We have a simple offering: adventure when you want it, luxury awaits your return.

Self-catering, thoughtfully designed and quietly luxurious, each lodge has its own private hot tub and loch access.

Perfect for families, couples or groups of friends gathering together. However you arrive, you’ll all leave feeling restored.

Walk high into the hills or wander gently along the shore. Sink into a hot tub as the sun slips behind Ben Venue. Light the fire, pour a dram, open a book. When night falls step outside barefoot in your pyjamas and watch the sky come alive with stars, unspoilt by city light.

Leave the world behind. And pause.

Relax or be active

Centrally located and easy to reach from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth, our location feels far removed from everyday life. The lodges sit on the peaceful shore of a quiet loch, surrounded by forest roads, winding footpaths and miles of walking and cycling routes through woods and mountains.

Loch Venachar is ideal for wild swimming, windsurfing, fishing, paddleboarding or simply floating and watching the clouds. The surrounding hills are close and accessible, rising gently into wide, loch-filled views. Drive the Duke’s Pass, ride the local gravel routes, or head out on foot straight from your door.

Return at the end of the day to music playing softly, a local dram in hand. Red squirrels dart through the trees, trout break the surface of the loch, and the world feels calm again.

Next door is Venachar Lochside, an award-winning wedding and events venue with a wild sauna and an exceptional restaurant celebrating local produce — a natural extension of your stay.

The outdoors in luxury. Easy to visit, hard to leave.

“Loch Venachar Lodges oozes glamour with a cool, Scandi sense of style.”
